A common problem with hitting the ball off a sidehill lie is keeping it on target; you aim for the hole, but the ball ends up going all over the place.
As part of Golf University’s weekly “Tip from the Pro” I videoed Joel Warner, the Head Pro at the Portsea Golf Club in Mornington Peninsula, where he teaches us:
- How the ball travels when hit off a slope
- How to distribute your weight properly on a sidehill lie
And …
- The key to aligning yourself properly to compensate for the slope
Which will ultimately…
- Help you stay on target when hitting the ball off a sidehill lie
