Steep faced bunkers pose a tricky situation for any golfer; here, it’s really important to get that extra height from your swing.
As part of Golf University’s weekly “Tip from the Pro” I videoed Rob McNaughton the Head Golf Pro at the CluBarham Golf Club in New South Wales where he teaches us:
- The importance of an earlier wrist break
- Why most players dread steep faced bunkers
And…
- Why a higher back swing with a higher follow-through is needed to get that extra height
Which will ultimately…
- Allow us to get out of those steep-faced bunkers and onto the green with ease.
