The importance of flexibility in golf should never be underestimated.
A flexible body will allow you to really maximise all of your swings.
As part of Golf University’s weekly “Tip from the Pro” I videoed internationally renowned strength and conditioning coach, Alani “Storm” Mala at Riverside Oaks Golf Resort, in Sydney, Australia where he teaches us:
- The importance of the hip flexors when it comes to the golf swing
- An easy exercise we can do to greatly boost our hip flexibility
- How to free up the hips for greater swing rotation
Which will ultimately…
- Allow us to swing freely by reducing tightness in the hips, which will also give us more distance and reduce the chance of injury.
