Golf Flexibility – Kneeling Hip Flexor Stretch

By June 5, 2016April 24th, 2018Blog, Golf

The importance of flexibility in golf should never be underestimated.

A flexible body will allow you to really maximise all of your swings.

As part of Golf University’s weekly “Tip from the Pro” I videoed internationally renowned strength and conditioning coach, Alani “Storm” Mala at Riverside Oaks Golf Resort, in Sydney, Australia where he teaches us:

  • The importance of the hip flexors when it comes to the golf swing
  • An easy exercise we can do to greatly boost our hip flexibility

And …

  • How to free up the hips for greater swing rotation

Which will ultimately…

  • Allow us to swing freely by reducing tightness in the hips, which will also give us more distance and reduce the chance of injury.
