How To Back Spin The Ball To Keep It On The Green

By August 10, 2015April 25th, 2018Golf

When the greens are hard it can be tough to make the ball stay on the green let alone put the ball where you want it.

As part of Golf University’s weekly “Tip from the Pro” I videoed the head pro at Royal Melbourne, Richard Hatt where he teaches us:

  • The importance of having sharp grooves on our clubs
  • Why soft balls are helpful

And …

  • How to create Spin Loft

Which will ultimately…

  • Allow us to back spin the ball and hold more greens.
