Practice fairways are a great place to work on your pitching set up without worrying too much about the ball’s proximity to the hole.
As part of Golf University’s weekly “Tip from the Pro” I videoed Matt Cleverdon the Director of Instruction at the world renowned Kingston Heath Golf Club & Victorian PGA Teacher of the year at Kingston Heath Golf Club, in Melbourne, Australia, where he teaches us:
- A slight variation to the normal setup to help with the pitch shot
- Where to place our weight to keep our chest rotating
And …
- How to rotate through the ball to get height and distance
Which will ultimately…
- Allow us to consistently hit a great pitch shot
