How To Improve Your Pitching Direction Drill

By June 5, 2016April 24th, 2018Blog, Golf

Many players struggle when pitching to start the ball on line – especially when you have the added pressure of pitching the ball onto the green and getting it as close to the hole as possible).

As part of Golf University’s weekly “Tip from the Pro” I videoed Matt Cleverdon the Director of Instruction at the world renowned Kingston Heath Golf Club & Victorian PGA Teacher of the year at Kingston Heath Golf Club, in Melbourne, Australia, where he teaches us:

  • A drill using alignment sticks that will show us where to aim the ball
  • Where to focus on the club face to increase accuracy

And …

  • How to get our alignment spot on

Which will ultimately…

  • Show us how to pitch the ball on to the green, and get it close to the hole every time!
