How to Improve Your Strength for Golf

By June 6, 2016Blog, Golf

Physical fitness can be a huge asset to your golf game – you just need to know the right way to implement it!

As part of Golf University’s weekly “Tip from the Pro” I videoed internationally renowned strength and conditioning coach, Alani “Storm” Mala at the Taylormade Performance Lab at the Melbourne Golf Academy where he teaches us:

  • A fantastic drill that builds up golf-relevant strength
  • Different levels of difficulty for drills to help tailor the program to the individual

And …

  • How to stabilize the hips and get a large rotation in the upper body

Which will ultimately…

  • Help us integrate all of our body parts and build strength whilst giving us distance at the same time.
