It can be tough to correctly judge the distance out of a bunker, not to mention adapting your swing technique to help you get out of the sand.
As part of Golf University’s weekly “Tip from the Pro” I videoed Victorian Coach of the Year Matt Cleverdon at Kingston Heath, Victoria where he teaches us:
- The problem with how people instinctively judge distance on the sand
- How to get a concept of the length of the shot

- Choosing the right type of shot to get out of the sand

- Allow us to control the outcome and length of the shot out of the sand
