How To Measure and Improve Your Putting

By September 13, 2015April 24th, 2018Golf

Once you get to the green, it’s a whole different game from the fairways.

Putting is all about consistency and control; if you’re finding yourself always 3-putting to get to the hole, read on.

As part of Golf University’s weekly “Tip from the Pro” I videoed Vaughan Somers at the Melbourne Golf Academy in Victoriawhere he teaches us:

  • Most people three putt due to hitting it short or long, rather than left or right
  • A putting drill to measure your accuracy and help you improve

And …

  • How to hit using the shoulders rather than the hands

Which will ultimately…

  • Help us improve consistency, accuracy, and distance control with our putter
