Shanking the ball can be a frustrating experience that hampers an otherwise enjoyable round of golf.
As such, it’s important to know how you can overcome this problem and start making better shots.
As part of Golf University’s weekly “Tip from the Pro” I videoed Matt Cleverdon the Director of Instruction at the world renowned Kingston Heath Golf Club & Victorian PGA Teacher of the year at Kingston Heath Golf Club, in Melbourne, Australia, where he teaches us:
- The major factors that cause golfers to shank
- How good weight distribution prevents shanking
And…
- An easy practice exercise that helps you balance your golf swing properly
Which will ultimately…
- Help you to correctly connect with the ball and eliminate any chance of shanking.
