It’s tough hitting the ball out of water – not only is it hard to get any good distance, but you get covered in muck in the process!
As part of Golf University’s weekly “Tip from the Pro” I videoed 2011 One Asia Order of Merit winner Andre Stolz at the Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course in Fiji where he teaches us:
- To bring some wet weather gear because of splash back
- The importance of stance stability for hitting out of water
And …
- Don’t come in too shallow or the club can bounce off the water
Which will ultimately…
- Help us get the ball clean out of the water (without us getting too dirty!)
