How To Spin Your Bunker Shots

By March 29, 2017April 24th, 2018Blog, Golf

Adding some spin to your bunker shots is a great way to increase your ball control when hitting onto the green.

However, learning to add spin to your golf ball can be tricky.

Fortunately, there is help.

As part of Golf University’s weekly “Tip from the Pro” I videoed Matt Cleverdon the Director of Instruction at the world renowned Kingston Heath Golf Club & Victorian PGA Teacher of the year at Kingston Heath Golf Club, in Melbourne, Australia, where he teaches us:

  • How to make sure that your equipment is capable of creating spin
  • Why increasing wrist movement increases spin

And…

  • The importance of experimenting with your handle positions

Which will ultimately…

  • Increase your spin and ball control when playing your bunker shots.
